What is it like to get an earful from a stranger about your haircut?
Is it weird?
Is the conversation about how you look weird?
It’s the hair salon where I got my haircut, so I get a lot of strange hair-related questions from clients.
So, when I get to the salon and the stylist is asking me about my hair, I’m like, “Wait a minute.
This is a man who is talking to me about hair and I don’t even know him.”
I mean, if I’m really uncomfortable about having this conversation, I’ll just leave it at that.
So I’ve always had this image of my haircut as sort of an awkward, weird conversation.
But the stylists at this salon are kind of amazing.
They’re super professional, and they’ve seen my hair for so long that they can tell if it’s okay to do something to it.
So this particular stylist was very kind and asked me if I’d like a haircut.
I said, “Yeah, sure, but I don-I don’t know how to get the right length.”
He said, Okay, you’ll have to come in and I’ll help you with that.
“I’m pretty confident that I can get my hair done that way.
So after a couple of minutes of talking to the stylista, he said, You know, you’ve got the right hair for the right time.
So that’s how I got to get to my salon.
I got this haircut, it looks great, and I’m going to go out and do it the right way.
I’ve got no issues.
I know how the haircut looks.
I’ll have a nice long coat, and then I’ll go out there and cut my hair.
And I can feel good about it.
I can’t see my hair getting cut.
The stylist said, Don’t worry, it’ll all come out nice and smooth.
I love my haircut.
The hair looks amazing.
The barber came out and he cut my head, and he was very gentle with me, and the barber gave me a lot more than I could have expected.
When I got home, I looked at my new haircut and I was like, Wow.
This guy was really helpful.
I’m so happy.
I have no problems with my hair at all.
