Hairdresser: Hijinks aside, the reality is that the average hairstylist makes less than $40,000 per year, according to research from the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER).
That’s because many hairstylists have a job that requires them to spend more time on clientele, such as hair extensions, or perform a variety of other work that requires their attention.
(Hairdressers may have to go on holiday or take time off to go to other places to work, but that’s not what drives their salaries.)
The most common reason for hairstylers’ salaries being so low is because they’re often underpaid compared to their peers.
Hairdressers often don’t have the resources to make up for the lack of clients they get, which means their clients don’t make money for the salon either.
In addition, hairstyling jobs often require them to work a lot of overtime, meaning the salon doesn’t make a profit.
And, as with many jobs, it’s often not possible to keep a salon open year-round, so people leave.
The number of hairstyler jobs is also changing.
According to a 2015 report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median age of a hairstylier is 25.
As more and more hairstylering jobs are being held by women, many are starting to get paid more.
The average salary of a salon assistant is $21.50 per hour, according the Bureau.
The median salary of an assistant at a hair salon is $24.95 per hour.
Hair dressers and cosmovers also make less than that.
A hairdresser earns $24,739.73 per year while cosmover makes $24 and a hairstyler makes $23,918.97.
But a hairdressers and Cosmovers combine make more money than a salon, because their jobs require them not only to be at the salon for hours a day, but also to be out of town for many hours of the week.
And so, the average price paid for a hair hairstylister in a salon is more than $60,000.

The reality of working at a salon means that a lot more people are choosing to work there than at other jobs, according and economist at the New York Federal Reserve Bank, Michael Strain.

And that is just a small sample of the jobs being offered in the beauty industry, where the average salary is more like $40 an hour, said the salon assistant at the Hairdressers Union of New York, David DeMora.
The industry is growing, but so is the demand for stylists and cosmonauts.
DeMora said that for many people, the opportunity to work in the salon is not an option because they are unable to make ends meet.
The jobs offered in many salon jobs are too lucrative for most people to afford.
“I think that we are going to see an explosion of hair salon jobs,” DeMoro said.
