Hired hairdressers are coming to Brighton and Hove to help customers with the job of hairdresser and to sell their wares.
A new business called The Hairdressers and Shops in Brighton is looking to attract and hire experienced hairderers, and offer an affordable, flexible way to get started in the hairdresser industry.
Hairdressers will earn a minimum of £20 an hour from tips, which can be used for travel and food.
The company is offering an introductory offer of £10 an hour for those who sign up through its website.
It is offering up to 50 per cent of the turnover in the salon to the hairderer, with other rewards such as discounts and promotions, said the head of operations, James Ward.
There is also a “career opportunity” to help with a training course, training materials, and support for apprenticeships.
A spokesman for The Hairdressing Academy said the salon had an average turnover of £15,000 a year.
The salon’s website shows a range of hair styles to suit all customers.
“We cater for customers from all walks of life and the salon has been recognised as one of the best in the country for offering a range that fits all,” it said.
The Hairdressering Academy also has a Facebook page, and its Instagram page shows videos of customers wearing the salon’s products.
It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
