The New York Times article I’m not sure where we’re going with this one, but this article about a man accused of beating his hairdryer owner to death was pretty funny to me.
In an interview with the New York Daily News, the owner of the hairdyler told police that he was forced to close his business, which had been operating for two decades, because of his hairstyle, and that he had a lot of respect for his haredi clients.
“I was shocked and shocked,” he said.
“My clientele is very well-respected.”
According to the New Jersey Department of Corrections, this man has a lengthy criminal history, and his conviction includes one count of murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and two counts each of kidnapping and robbery.
A police report said that the man, who is black, was driving his black SUV with two black men inside when he was attacked.
He said the two men got out of the SUV, grabbed him, and pushed him into the ground.
The driver was charged with aggravated assault and robbery, according to the report.
He was released from jail last year after serving only five days.
