The movie, which opened in theaters in March, is a sequel to the 2010 cult classic film of the same name starring Joss Whedon and is the first installment in the “Fantastic Four” franchise.
The cast includes Chris Evans, Josh Gad, Michael Pena, Rebecca Hall, Jamie Bell, and Rebecca Hall-Meyers.
IGN recently sat down with the film’s director Joss to talk about the sequel, how he thinks the film will end up, and what to expect from a new “Fantom” reboot.
IGN: What did you think of the new “The Fantastic Four” movie?
Joss: It’s a great film.
The movie is great.
It’s an amazing movie.
It just so happens that I am the director of the movie, and I feel really privileged and honored to be working on that film.
I was thrilled to get the opportunity to make that movie.
I’m very grateful that I got to do it, because the world is really into the Fantastic Four.
IGN, what are your thoughts on the sequel?
JOSS: I’ve never watched “The Avengers,” so I’m a little hesitant about it.
I really like the concept of the “fantastic four,” and I think they’re all great characters, but I’m not sure I’m going to really dig the movie.
But if there is a reboot of the franchise, I think it will be great.
And if there’s a reboot, I’ll be rooting for it.
IGN.
What’s your favorite “Fable” character?
JONS: I love Snow White, so it’s hard to say.
But I really liked the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs because they were kind of a team, they were not like superheroes.
They weren’t superheroes with superpowers, they weren’t super-heroes.
But they were good friends and good friends are fun.
You just want to hang out with them, and you don’t really have a reason to go anywhere else.
I think the character of Fable is very important in the franchise.
IGN what are some of your favorite Pixar movies?
JONES: “Up,” the new film, is one of my favorites.
I love “Up” because the idea of a family of humans living in a robot city is a fantastic idea.
You have this great robot family that’s just living life.
It takes place in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and the robot family is very much part of the story.
It is very different than “Up.”
The story of the robots and their lives and their interactions is something that I love.
And I really love “Monsters University.”
That was one of the things that I loved about the movie when I was a kid, because it was very grounded.
I didn’t get to see that much of a movie when it was in theaters.
I would watch “Monkey” in theaters and it would be the same story over and over.
And then “Monkeys” is one the greatest Pixar movies.
I can’t remember my favorite Pixar movie, but “Up and Monsters University” are definitely on my list.
IGNWhat’s your best Pixar moment?
JAMES: I think that’s going to have to be “Up”, because that was a great Pixar movie.
You know, I was just really proud to work with the team at Pixar and I love the movie and I’m really proud of the film.
That’s my favorite thing, and that’s what I want to work on now.
IGNDo you think the new movie will be a reboot?
JOSSE: It will definitely be a new story.
But there’s definitely going to be a little more of a focus on the original story and the characters.
It will be more focused on the characters and on their story, and it will still be a Pixar film.
IGNHow will the new ‘Fantasies’ franchise evolve from the new original film?
JODSON: The franchise is just evolving.
They’re all working very, very hard, and they’re trying to find their place.
So hopefully, as the movie evolves, they’ll be able to find the place that they’ve always wanted to be.
IGNIf the “Man From U,N.T.O.L.” movie were to make it to theaters, would you go see it?
JOSH: Oh my gosh!
I would.
I have never seen the film before, and so if there was a chance, I’d definitely see it.
It would be one of those movies that I would have to see.
