A female hairstylist in Bristol has told how she suffered from hair loss and her hair became black and had to be bleached again, in an interview that has sparked outrage online.
The story has been shared on Facebook and prompted the resignation of the salon’s owner.
The story has sparked anger in the local area where the salon is located, as well as online, where the owner said she has been called names on social media.
In a post on Facebook, the salon owner wrote: “I am so sick of all these people trying to be funny with this story.
The salon owner added: “We have had people calling us names and trying to make it seem like this woman was a racist or that she was not doing her job properly. “
I am not going to name the woman because I don’t want to scare her off, but I can tell you this is how her hair looked when she was younger and what her hair had done to her skin.”
The salon owner added: “We have had people calling us names and trying to make it seem like this woman was a racist or that she was not doing her job properly.
We have also had a couple who called the police on us because they didn’t know how to pronounce the word ‘balfe’.”
It’s the worst thing that could happen to anyone who is trying to do their job properly.
“The salon has been the subject of criticism online, with some saying it had a “black eye” on its business and others saying it was the first time they had ever heard of it.
It has also sparked the resignation by the salon manager, who told the Bristol Post: “It’s all been taken out of context.””
We are here to provide good hair for all of Bristol.” “
I’m really not going anywhere.
We are here to provide good hair for all of Bristol.”
According to the Bristol Herald, the owner is currently looking for a new salon and will be considering other options.
