Posted on July 26, 2021

New York-based Suki hairstylist Suki Hairstyles has opened in New York City, according to a post on the salon’s Instagram account.

The New York Times, which first reported on the news, describes Suki as “one of the most popular hairdresses in New Jersey” and a “fashionista, a hairstylist and a makeup artist” and claims that she has a reputation as “a one-of-a-kind hair stylister.”

According to the Times, the salon will have a “beautiful space with an inviting decor that is perfect for entertaining.”

The salon, which has been in operation since May 2017, is slated to open its first day of operation on June 17, 2018.

According to a LinkedIn page for Suki, she also serves as a “co-owner and founder.”

“Suki is a talented artist with a unique aesthetic that has earned her a following of clients and admirers,” the LinkedIn page says.

“We are excited to bring Suki’s beautiful artistry to New York and offer our own unique, luxurious and timeless beauty experience.”

The Instagram account also lists Suki and her husband, Scott, as co-founders of the salon.

“As of today, Suki has been able to open her salon and expand to NYC, but her vision for her salon remains the same,” the Instagram post says.

“We have created a safe, supportive and comfortable environment where all of our guests are treated with respect and appreciation.

The salon is also open to all genders, race, age, sexuality, and ethnicity.”

According the salon, Sukis staff members are currently on call during the day and “work 24/7 to make sure the salon is a place where our clients can feel comfortable.”

The New Jersey-based salon is slated for a two-week run, according the Instagram account, which adds that the salon “will be fully staffed by the community.”

“With a growing number of new and returning clients, Suku is confident that we can provide our customers with a wonderful and memorable experience,” the post reads.

The salon will be open to the public on the first day and will be accepting cash, credit cards and reservations until June 17.
